Tips
For the
most effective microdermabrasion, timing is the key.
Don’t overdo. Make sure to rinse product off after 1—2 minutes, or sooner if necessary. Do not massage for
more than 2 minutes.
Make sure
to apply on a damp face for easier action. Consider apply Step 1 in the
shower where your face is already clean and rinsing will be effortless.
It’s a
perfect morning wake-up call. But on your first application, you may want
to use the Microdermabrasion Kit in the evening to
understand how your skin reacts to the treatment.
Don’t
forget to apply Step 2. This is an essential part of the procedure.

Smart Questions:
What is
a professional microdermabrasion? A professional
uses a machine with a vacuum-like tube that simultaneously circulates aluminum
oxide crystals onto the skin as it removes the dead skin cells.
Is the
Refine step as strong as a professional? It is not as aggressive as a
professional treatment; however, the product does contain the same ingredient
and will deliver significant improvement to the surface layer of your skin.
What
will my skin look like immediately afterwards and the next day? Immediately
after, your skin will feel smooth, refined and have a fresh translucency.
It may be slightly pink but this will diminish soon after application of
the Replenish step. The next day, your face will retain its new
smoothness and glow.
How often
can I use the microdermabrasion kit? You can use the
kit 2—3 times a week. For normal to oily skin, use up to 3 times per
week. For normal to dry skin use 2 times per week. Do not use more
than 3 times per week.
What
other products should I use with the kit? Follow your usual routine except
avoid using acne products.
What are
the long-term benefits of the Microdermabrasion Kit? The textural
benefits are apparent immediately. In the long term, surface sun damage
is erased, fine lines are reduced and skin tone appears brightened and evened.
When
should a physician be consulted before using? If you have severely sensitive skin,
if you are on any type of skin medication or if you have a skin condition such
as seborrheic dermatitis, chronic eczema, psoriasis,
severe acne, rosacea, skin cancer, a facial tattoo or
sunburned skin.
